SRI2020 Postponed Until 2021

March 20, 2020

This news item will be updated with new information as it becomes available.

With the global outbreak of COVID-19, and a serious concern about the health and safety of our participants, the conveners of Sustainability Research and Innovation 2020 Congress (SRI2020) have made the decision to postpone the Congress to mid-2021. The new date will be confirmed in the coming weeks, and announced on our website, newsletter and social media.

SRI2021 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center in Australia. The Congress will bring together an even larger and more dynamic group of global change-makers in sustainability.

All accepted sessions will be automatically rolled over into the new Congress program, you will not need to submit a new proposal. We will reach out to you to confirm your session later in the year. For those of you who have submitted applications for a Popcorn Session and Demonstrations and are still waiting on a response, we will invite you to resubmit in due course.

All registrations for SRI2020 will be reimbursed by April 30, 2020.

Between now and the Congress next year, we will be working to build momentum for SRI2021, featuring some of the sessions on our website. We are also launching an SRI webinar series, featuring engaging conversations around sustainability. So, stay tuned!

From all of us at the Sustainability Research and Innovation Congress, Future Earth, the Belmont Forum and our partners, we wanted to thank you for your support and understanding. Please stay safe and stay in touch. We look forward to engaging with you on social media and seeing you in 2021.
